Odin Sphere - Japanese Trailer

I’m not quite sure who to credit for this news, as its already made the rounds on several sources, so let me just say, “Thank you Internet,” though I guess the biggest props go to intrepid YouTube poster, duckroll.

Odin Sphere, spiritual successor to the Sega Saturn hit RPG Princess Crown, will be making its way to the Japanese Playstation 2 on May 5, 2007. Luckily, us filthy gaijin won’t be left in the dust wanting for this gorgeous 2D offering, since Atlus is already working on a North American release.

Information is still a bit scarce on the title, but it looks to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, mixing conventional RPG mechanics, with dialogue dependent story advancement, and fighting-game styled battles.

Check out the trailer below then head over to the official US Odin Sphere website for some additional word on this beautiful game. Now all we need is a US release date.
